A neighbor moved out and I cleaned up and mowed his yard for him. He said to take what ever scrap metal was left for our annual G.T. show.
In the weeds was this rusty old plow that I never knew he had. I brought it home. And it has the exact coulter standard that I was needing last July/August.
My Mocraft tractor haad a plow, but was missing the coulter and standard. I managed to scrounge up a coulter but had to fabricate a standard. Thanks to Propane1 providing me with pictures and measurements I replicated one. All that time exactly what I needed was about a hundred feet away.
I should have taken before pictures but I didn't. I was too busy beating banging and cussing. After a little cussing. Judicious use of a BFH, heating with a torch, and using a 1/2" impact at 120 psi, and just a little more cursing It all came apart. The plow share is well worn and has a chunk out of it, and the moldboard is missing except for a small triangular piece.
