I have this single cylinder engine laying in my garage, out of the machine, and I have a neighbor (different neighbor than who I got the tractor with this dud mounted on) who has a sears (which I found out is really another Husqvarna with different paint) that has a 26hp twin cylinder courage that has a starter issue. I think this one has a slipping Bendix or a chipped tooth or 2, the way it sounds while cranking.
I want to scrap this dud once I get mine running on the replacement, and am wondering if I would get any good, out of saving anything off of the dud.
